Education is the essence of the development of a community, an educated community will produce a virtuous society that reflects the potential of a community and the country itself. However, we can see that the needs and rights of education are mostly ignored or denied either by ignorance or due to limited resources, especially for the aboriginal community in Malaysia. Therefore, our aim as an aborigine-based society in IIUM is to raise their awareness of the importance of education and pave the path for them to guide them to achieve their dreams.

COMRADE Club is one of the IIUM aborigine base societies that focus on outreach, spreading da’wah, and social services in the aboriginal community. Aligned with our goals
and missions to help develop and improve their lives, we have come up with an annual programme called Genius Genesis (GG) that helps provide academic motivation and training for the children to attract their interest in education while improving their soft skills through engaging and fun activities. Furthermore, we are aiming that this year GG will help the student to decide their educational path and improve their soft skills such as communication and creative-critical thinking, that are highly needed in facing current real-world situations.

In addition, our COMRADE Club also aims to help aboriginal students to really grasp the importance of education and enjoy the knowledge-seeking process, as it will be beneficial for them to be a better person and also a valuable asset that will improve their family life.

Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Ulu Kinta is a high school located in Ulu Kinta, Perak, where the school consists of an estimated 100 aboriginal students. The school is equipped with a hostel for aboriginal students and other facilities that are provided by the government.

COMRADE CLUB IIUM has built a strong connection with SMK Ulu Kinta through years of collaborations and programmes that are conducted with the cooperation and understanding from both sides, and the collaboration continues with this year's GG that will be held there. GG stands for Genius Genesis, and it is an educational-based project that is conducted by the Module Bureau of the COMRADE Club. As the previous objective was successfully achieved in the past, we are bringing a new objective in the upcoming program to be delivered to the students not particularly in the career path but also on how any job is specifically done practically.

Thus, the implementation of this program is set to be the catalyst and provide a boost for the aboriginal students educational journey, in hopes that they will thrive and become successful in the future. This program is focusing more deeply on how to provide the students with the potential career opportunity that they can choose regardless of where they are coming from or financial problems. Polishing their thinking skills, developing their soft skills along the way, and also introducing them to scholarship opportunities.
